So sorry to hear of your cat's farewell. Purring contentedly in a made-new frame is a great image of hope.

If small consolation, I arrived at church this morning to be greeted by water gushing through the ceiling... thankfully not of the office and in playing 'hunt the stop tap' found evidence of another flood...

So, scunnerings are the latest thing it seems.
