Geoff Colmer

Hi Jim! Advent is a favourite season of mine too and today's the day when I prepare the candels for Advent tea on Sundays. Already I've got a pile of CD's waiting. It includes, James MacMillan, Veni, veni, Emmanuel, with Evelyn Glennie. For reading, last year I bought, Luci Shaw, Accompanied by Angels, Poems of the Incarnation, and Luci Shaw, editor, A Widening Light, Poems of the Incarnation. I'll turn to Denise Levertov's poems, On the Mystery of the Incarnation, and Annunciation. And a book I've already started, is Borg & Crossan The First Christmas. I look forward to your reading and musical preferences. An adventurous Advent to you!
